Meet the Team 

Becky Furniss

School Sport Development Manager 

Becky is the Partnership Development Manager for ESSSP, her role involves providing strategic direction for PE, school sport and well-being. She is responsible for the financial and strategic management of the partnership and oversees co-ordination of multiple programmes of competitive sporting opportunities, health/well-being interventions,  PE and school sport professional development. She aims to maintain and develop effective relationships with a wealth of partners including head teachers, school staff, local authorities and sports organisations. Becky is passionate about supporting children’s well-being and providing inclusive physical activity opportunities for all young people. 

Hannah Ward

School Games Organiser – Competition & Leadership Manager 

Hannah is the School Games Organiser for the ESSSP.  Her role is to coordinate and deliver a fully inclusive competition programme for primary and secondary schools through the School Games and Team Staffordshire initiatives. She also runs the Sporting Ambassadors and secondary leadership programmes for schools across East Staffordshire. Hannah is passionate about providing opportunities for all young people to participate and progress in sport and physical activity.
