Transition Information
We know that the opportunity to visit the school, meet Form Tutors, have parental information evenings and ensure key information is shared, is part of the process that helps parents, pupils and staff feel prepared for September. We will keep updating this transition page with key information to help parents and pupils feel more informed about Blessed Robert Sutton. We will also send out emails to parents using the address on their admissions form, if this changes please use the transition email below to update us.
Main transition support – To support your child with transition we speak to all year 6 teachers, the SENCo and Safeguarding leads at primary schools to ensure the changeover of information is as effective as possible.
All pupils will be invited for a transition day on Wednesday 1st July 2026 where they can have a look round, meet their form tutors and begin their experiences at Blessed Robert Sutton.
We will also ensure we provide as much information to both parents and pupils to ensure the change to Secondary school goes smoothly.
Enhanced Transition Support – We offer an enhanced transition support package for pupils who have special educational needs or any additional needs where support will be required.
Parental Support – We hold a Parental Support Evening so you can get to know the school better, receive key information and meet your child’s Year Leader. This will take place on Tuesday 30th June 2026, more details to follow.
